Steve Fuhrman is the vacuum expert.  He’s been in the business of selling and servicing vacuums for 23 years.  If he says it’s good, it is.  If he says it will fit, it will. 

Jeanie Jones is the cleaning expert.  We aren’t allowed to say how many years she’s been cleaning, but it’s longer than Steve’s been selling vacuum cleaners.  Jeanie became interested in Natural Cleaning because of her own sensitivities.  She convinced Steve to have it as an extension of the business because she wanted to help others who have the same struggles. 

Shon Ashcraft is our shipping expert and vacuum apprentice.  If there’s a question about shipping, he can answer.  He’s getting pretty good at repairing and selling vacuums.  We just can’t call him the vacuum expert because that’s Steve’s title. 

Darth Jackson Jones (DJ) is our Lab-Husky store mascot.  If you like dogs, he is happy to let you pet him as long as you want.  If you don’t like dogs, we are happy to ask him to go to his bed and he will stay there until after you leave. 

Together we are the family business known as VacShack.com.  We get by with some help from our friends and other family members, but we are the glue that holds this ship together.  If you call or email, chances are you will get to talk with one of us (DJ doesn't do very well with phone or email, though). 

We are happy to answer your questions about which vacuum to buy, how to use the cleaning products or give you an up-date on the Oklahoma  weather.  During business hours (unless we are all busy with other customers) our phone will be answered by a real person. 

VacShack.com is owned and operated by Stephen Fuhrman, a veteran of vacuum service and repair, and his wife, Jeanie Jones.

After having a retail store in California for many years, Steve ventured into the online business.  When  that was up and running, we moved our operations to Oklahoma; (Jeanie and her family are Native Oklahomans).  By being centrally located, we are able to serve more customers quicker. You can still get your questions answered by one of the members of our family business.

We believe you cannot have one without the other.  We offer products that we believe enable you to clean and keep your home healthy.  We have avoided trendy products, sometimes at the price of not making a bigger profit because we want to stay true to our mission. 

Our goal is also to sell products that are kinder to the environment.  We sell natural cleaning products, machines and products that are certified green and green cleaning supplies.

A vacuum that only lasts a year or two is not environmentally friendly.  It gets thrown into a landfill.  We sell vacuum cleaners that are made to last 20 years and actually do.  A bagless may seem like a good idea, but when you consider the filters you have to buy, the shorter life span of the vacuum, the frequency of repair on these machines (they DO get clogged) and the effects on your health of emptying the dust cup and filling your face, mouth and lungs with all that dirt, we don't think they are a good idea.
